SARDA Group hosted Georgian Delegation at Electrify Azerbaijan’s Bus Service & Maintenance Depot

The CEO of SARDA Group - Mr. Rauf Khalilov hosted a distinguished delegation from Georgia at Electrify Azerbaijan’s Bus Service & Maintenance Depot in Baku, including Ms. Nino Latsabidze, Mayor of Rustavi - Mr. Vakhtang Tsintsadze, Deputy Minister of Economy of Georgia - Mr. Irakli Shatakishvili, Member of Parliament of Georgia, and representatives of the Rustavi Municipality.

The visit provided an opportunity to present Electrify Azerbaijan’s operational capabilities and maintenance infrastructure, which supports a fleet of more than 200 electric buses serving the city of Baku. The delegation gained valuable insight into the company’s approach to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electric public transport through comprehensive service and maintenance practices.

The program also included discussions on sustainable mobility, innovation in public transportation, and opportunities for knowledge exchange and regional cooperation in the development of electric transport ecosystems.

During the visit, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy - Mr. Anar Akhundov hosted the delegation for lunch, reflecting the strong ties and growing collaboration between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The visit underscored the importance of cross-border cooperation and a shared commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions across the region.
