Students of the Vocational Education Center visited Zigh Electric Bus Park
As part of a business visit to Baku, BYD representatives alongside with the bran’s local partner Electrify Azerbaijan and their joint venture Azerbaijan Energy Automotive Factory, conducted a series of high-level strategic meetings. One of the key topics on the agenda was the development of vocational education and the training of qualified professionals, which was discussed in detail with the Vocational Education Center of Economic Zones Development Agency under the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones.
Following these discussions, in April a special educational excursion was organized for students of the Vocational Education Center to the Zigh Electric Bus Park.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the electric bus production process, explore their technical specifications, and observe various stages of operation at the facility. In addition to theoretical presentations, students also participated in brief hands-on training sessions, allowing them to experience a real-world production environment.
This initiative is designed to enhance the technical competencies of young professionals and foster greater interest in sustainable and green technologies across Azerbaijan.
