The BYD Invitational Golf Tournament 2026 organized by the Azerbaijan Golf Federation took place at Dreamland Golf Club bringing together golf enthusiasts and professional players for a highly competitive sporting event.
The tournament was held with the support of main sponsors BYD,Azerbaijan Energy Automotive Factory and Castrol. Event partners included the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, SARDA Group, Dreamland Golf Club and AzerGold.
Despite challenging rainy and windy weather conditions, participants demonstrated a high level of professionalism, precision, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. The tournament featured strong performances and an intense competitive atmosphere across all stages of play.
At the conclusion of the tournament winners were announced in the Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive categories, while the top three players received trophies and special awards in recognition of their achievements.
An official award ceremony was held following the competition President of the Azerbaijan Golf Federation - Mr. Rauf Khalilov welcomed the guests and thanked all participants for their contribution to the success of the tournament. He highlighted the determination and professionalism shown by the golfers particularly under difficult weather conditions.
The tournament once again highlighted the growing interest in golf in Azerbaijan and reflected the importance of such initiatives in supporting the development of the sport in the country.
